Heritage
We specialise in alterations and extensions to historic buildings. These have often been Listed buildings but also include non-listed examples in conservation areas which may benefit from an understanding of historical styles, construction details and ways in which these can be adapted to energy efficiency requirements whilst maintaining or adapting their historic character.

Conservation involves appraisal of the significance of heritage assets following historical research and site investigation. Restoration can involve a combination of historical research, site investigation and working with suitably skilled trades. Design proposals often entail a well structured written justification before work can take place.
